FALSETTOS
A story about love, family, and figuring it out while everything changes. Set in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Falsettos follows a group of people learning, in real time, what it means to build a family. When Marvin leaves his wife and son for his lover, the shape of that family begins to shift—expanding, colliding, and redefining itself in unexpected ways. What emerges is something messy, honest, and deeply human: a story about love, identity, and the connections that hold us together when everything changes. Book by William Finn and James Lapine Music and Lyrics by William Finn Performances at St. Francis in the Foothills, September 2026 A portion of proceeds from Falsettos will be donated to the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF) in support of their ongoing work in care, education, and advocacy within our community. DOGFIGHT When the moment comes, what kind of person will you choose to be? On the eve of their deployment, a group of young Marines set out for one final night of bravado and bad decisions. But when Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward and open-hearted waitress, the night takes an unexpected turn. What begins as a game becomes something far more complicated—an encounter that challenges assumptions, reveals vulnerability, and asks what kind of person we choose to be when it matters most.
